Synopsis:
The Shubra Roundabout explores the special bonds that unified society for years and the daily challenges faced by a group of Coptic and Muslim friends and neighbors living in the same apartment building. The Television Drama series follows the lives of four families living in the same building. Loula, is a Coptic widow raising a spoiled only child. Living next door is a Muslim family made of mother Buthaina and her three sons. On the top floor is Refaat, a single man who has been living alone since his sister passed away. Refaat’s neighbor is the corrupt teacher Zeidan. In the basement lives the poorest family in the entire building whose son has just been released from prison. The neighbors in the building come to represent the whole district of Shubra.
